Sunday Shelf: Nostalgic

For when you want a reminder of something familiar.

Sundays have a way of making us a little reflective. For many of us it’s the end of our days off, and we are sitting on the threshold of a new week. Personally, I like to find a quiet space and just enjoy the peace, the calm, and read something that makes me feel. This Sunday I’m feeling nostalgic. Here are three books that took me back, stirred old memories, and gave me a sense of old times.

100 Rules for Living to 100 by Dick Van Dyke

This one made me relive a little piece of my childhood, listening to Dick Van Dyke share the stories behind a lifetime of laughter. Read my review

Sonora by Jenni L. Walsh

This one brought back the movie that began my love for horses. I would rewatch Wild Hearts Canโ€™t Be Broken starring Gabrielle Anwar and dream of riding as brave and free as Sonora. Read my review

Introducing Mrs. Collins by Rachel Parris

This one welcomed me back to the Jane Austen universe, and it felt like visiting old friends. Read my review

Enjoy your evening with something warm to sip, and happy reading! ๐Ÿ’œ
